Rozalia Williams, Founder and President, developed the theoretical framework underlying the services offered by the College Student Development Center, Her experiences as a 16-year-old college student eventually led to a professional career creating, implementing and evaluating college student development programs.
After earning a bachelor’s and two master’s degrees, Dr. Williams earned the Doctor of Education degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Author of the College FAQ Book: Over 5,000 Not Frequently Asked Questions About College!, she has over 25 years of experience giving sound advice to high school, undergraduate and graduate students while serving in numerous executive, administrative and instructional positions at public and private universities.
The College Student Development Center was founded to help improve post-secondary education attainment rates in the U.S. The company envisions a society where every college-bound student has the opportunity to learn the life skills necessary to become successful in higher education prior to arriving on campus. Its mission is to prepare college-bound students for the challenges they will experience transitioning to adults in the college environment. The company fulfills its mission by offering early, comprehensive, enlightening, and rigorous guidance counseling, instruction, professional development and community outreach in a non-threatening, risk-free atmosphere.
